Perhaps you will guess in a few thousand rupees, but in Barmer district, two brothers together have started a tea shop, which has become a means of earning about one and a half lakh rupees in a month in a short time. The story is also interesting because one of these brothers left a job abroad worth Rs 1 lakh to start this shop.

The youth of Barmer’s small village Bhurtia has left his 1 lakh per month job abroad and started a new tea startup in Barmer. Omprakash Sau NRI and his brother Narendra Kumar Sau both have studied till graduation. Omprakash was engaged in work in Congo, Africa for 6 years. He used to get a salary of Rs 1 lakh in a month. After 6 years, made up his mind to startup in his city and along with his brother opened two outlets of ‘Om-Narendra NRI Chaiwala’ at City Center and Chamunda Square at Barmer District Headquarters.

Now there is an influx of enthusiasts at both these shops. Both the brothers are managing one shop each and till now they are able to provide employment to 8 people. His father is an electrician. The thought of doing something in their own city made both of them businessmen. Now both are also giving franchise of their tea shop.

Omprakash tells that he worked as a salesman in Congo, Africa for 6 years. “Recently came home, thought of doing some startup in Barmer and opened a tea startup named OMNA NRI.” He says that now he earns around Rs 1.5 lakh a month.
